Shilpa P. Thangal is a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) and the Co-Founder of Ahamya Child Development Centre. With over six years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and child development, she is passionate about helping children build meaningful skills, communicate their needs, participate more confidently in everyday life, and develop greater independence in ways that respect who they are.
Her clinical approach combines evidence-based practices with an individualised, child-centred perspective. She believes that every child has unique strengths, interests, needs, and ways of learning, and that effective intervention should build on these individual differences to support meaningful participation, learning, and growth across everyday environments.
Having worked across clinical programming, therapist supervision, team development, and parent collaboration, Shilpa values the importance of consistent, ethical, and high-quality care. She is committed to supporting families with practical strategies, empowering therapists through ongoing guidance, and building meaningful partnerships between children, families, schools, and professionals.
At Ahamya, Shilpa hopes to create an environment where children feel understood, families feel supported, and progress is measured not just by the skills a child acquires, but by how those skills contribute to their everyday experiences, relationships, and quality of life.
